Preity Zinta has been under the radar of fake news for a long time. Every time someone tries to create a fake buzz around her life she either ignores or takes on them. However, this time Preity Zinta faced fake rumours from none other than Congress' Kerala Unit. To which she cleared the air and asked everyone to refrain from assuming things about her.

Preity Zinta Lashes Out At Kerela Congress For Spreading False Rumours

While it has been common for people to joke about a lot of things that leads to fake rumours, it is also seen that big personalities also believe the rumours sometimes. However, this Preity Zinta took care of a fake news about her social media handle. The Kerala Congress' X account shared a post featuring Preity Zinta and wrote, 'She gave her social media accounts to BJP and got 18 Cr written off and the bank collapsed last week. Depositors are on the streets for their money.' 

Preity Zinta cleared the air, she took to her social media handle and said 'No I operate my social media accounts my self and shame on you for promoting FAKE NEWS ! No one wrote off anything or any loan for me. I’m shocked that a political party or their representative is promoting fake news & indulging in vile gossip & click baits using my name & images.' Preity also talked about the that has been cleared off. 


Preity Zinta further talked about the misinformation running on social media about her and other celebs. She wrote, 'So much misinformation going around but thank god for social media and thank god for X ! All through my career I have seen so many so respected journalists get so many stories completely wrong & never have the decency to correct the story or apologise.' Further Kal Ho Na Ho actress also talked about journalist Sucheta Dalal and asked her to call Preity before any news.
