Priya Bakshi Viral Video: Actress-model Priya Bakshi, known for her Bollywood debut in JNU: Jahangir National University, shared a shocking incident she faced with an auto driver in Bandra, Mumbai. The incident happened late at night while she was heading home.
According to Priya, the driver allegedly took an unfamiliar route and ignored her repeated requests to stop. Her viral video is now doing rounds on social media.
Priya Bakshi Viral Video: Horror Auto Ride in Bandra
On February 14, Priya Bakshi posted a video on Instagram showing her visibly scared during the ride. She repeatedly asked the auto driver to stop, saying she did not recognise the route. The driver reportedly insisted, “Map mein route nahi bata raha hai, yehi sahi raasta hai.”
In the video, Priya said, “Auto roko bhaiya, main police ko phone kar dungi. Aap auto roko. Bhaiya, aap kahan se leke ja rahe ho? Please auto roko. Mujhe aapke saath nahi jana hai…”
When she refused to continue, the driver allegedly stopped in anger and warned her, “Mat jao. Pata-vata hota nahi hai, chale aate ho. Yeh hamara area hai, yahan mat aaya karo.”
After getting off the auto, Priya expressed her frustration and said, “Mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi hai yahan khade rehne ka. Hum North Indians ko trash ki tarah treat kiya ja raha hai. I am done with this! I am not going to take this shit. Seriously?”
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Being unfamiliar with a city doesn’t make someone inferior. Asking a question doesn’t make someone disrespectful. And belonging to a different region doesn’t make someone a strange entity.”
She also urged people to support inclusivity and fight regional stereotypes. Priya clarified that the video was part of a paid collaboration with a brand.
