Project K makers released new poster of Prabhas amid backlash; Twitter reacts

Project K

Prabhas, the Tollywood superstar, recently revealed the first look of his much-anticipated film, Project K, and the internet was abuzz with reactions. However, the response from fans and netizens seemed to be mixed, with many taking to Twitter to express their thoughts on the poster.

In the original first look, Prabhas appeared with a top bun and a fully armed, robotic-looking body, gazing directly at the camera. The intriguing caption, ‘What is Project K,’ added to the mystery surrounding the film’s plot. However, the poster received a lot of backlash for bad editing of the most-anticipated and star-studded movie. The anticipation for Project K has been steadily building, and the first look was a highly awaited moment for Prabhas’ admirers.

Netizens react to the old poster

As the poster went viral on the internet, netizens started trolling the poster. One user wrote, “Prabhas needs to go back to the drawing board as his past 2 big budget movies have bombed although opening big. Law of averages working.” Another user wrote, “The face and body, not a match!!” The third user wrote, “Poor photoshop.”

Project K makers released a new poster

The backlash prompted the makers to remove the initial poster from social media platforms. They shared a revised version of the first look but with some changes. The new poster featured Prabhas in the same pose, but with a brighter appearance, and interestingly, the caption ‘What is Project K’ was omitted from the background.

Reactions to the new poster

Fans and netizens continued to share their thoughts on the new poster, with some expressing relief at the change, while others still voiced their mixed opinions. One user wrote, “We are very little disappointed with this first look of #projectK maybe because of some detailing issues we don’t want to see this movie as like second #Adipurush.”
