Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat, who recently tied the knot, are giving fans glimpses into their adorable post-wedding life. After sharing pictures from Kriti’s traditional “pehli rasoi” ceremony, Kriti has now posted photos from Pulkit’s “pehli rasoi,” a sweet gesture that has won hearts online.
Breaking Traditions, Sharing Responsibilities
The “pehli rasoi” is a post-wedding ritual where the bride cooks a meal for the first time in her husband’s household. However, Pulkit chose to redefine the tradition. Kriti shared on Instagram, “Pulkit surprised everyone with his ‘pehli rasoi’! He casually declared he was making halwa, our family’s sweet dish, and that it was his ‘pehli rasoi.'”
Kriti was touched by Pulkit’s explanation. He said, “‘That’s so silly,’ he said, ‘we’ve both decided to share equal responsibility in this relationship. You cooked for our family in Delhi, I’ll cook for our family here in Bangalore. Simple!'”
Kriti in Awe of Pulkit’s Thoughtfulness
Kriti expressed her admiration for Pulkit’s progressive mindset. “He casually changed everything,” she wrote, “and the way he said ‘simple’ just blew me away.” She called him the “best thing that ever happened” to her and thanked him for being her “best decision.”

This isn’t the first time Kriti has highlighted Pulkit’s thoughtful nature. Earlier, she mentioned how impressed she was that Pulkit always carries tampons in his bag, showcasing his consideration for women around him.
