The superstar also explained why he met former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin after the recent election results, saying it was a personal meeting and not related to politics.
Speaking in Chennai, Rajinikanth said he felt the need to clarify things as FALSE stories about him were spreading online. He added that his long friendship with Stalin should not be mixed with political meaning.

Rajinikanth said his meeting with MK Stalin after the election results was only because of personal friendship. He explained that they have known each other for nearly 40 years and meeting him was a normal friendly gesture. He also said he felt a bit sad about Stalin’s election result, which is why he met him as a friend.
