Rakhi Sawant, who was recently a contestant on Marathi Bigg Boss, shocked her fans when she revealed that she was getting married to her beau Adil Durrani. The reality star posted images and a video of their court marriage on her social media accounts. Even though Adil denies the marriage, she has also changed her name and is thought to have converted to Islam, which caught our interest. Rakhi claims that after knowing Adil for three months, she wed him last year.
Adil Durrani denies the wedding rumors
After Adil called their wedding rumors “false,” Rakhi posted a statement that is seen as a confirmation. According to rumors, Rakhi Sawant changed her name following their weddings to Adil. According to the marriage certificate that Telly Talk retrieved, the actress is now Rakhi Sawant Fatima.
Adil Durrani and Rakhi, who were dating, are said to have wed through a judicial ceremony. She can be seen in the video she posted wearing a printed red and pink sharara and a beige dupatta, while Adil is dressed more casually in a black shirt and jeans. The couple, who were wearing garlands around their necks, were spotted completing what appeared to be paperwork related to their marriage certification process.
Rakhi Sawant said she got married in July 2022
Speaking about the same, Rakhi revealed to ETimes that after dating for three months, they were married in court in July 2022. “We got married in court and had a nikaah ceremony. I haven’t told anyone about it since he forbade me to do so seven months ago. He believed that if people knew about our marriage, it would be difficult for his sister to find a husband. He stated that “Tum Rakhi Sawant ke saath judoge toh tumne badnaami lee hai.” Adil denied the reports, saying they are not married, in an interview.
