The RRR star and his wife Upasana Konidela are soon to become parents for the first time. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan’s father, posted the good news on Twitter on Monday.
Sharing a photo of Lord Hanuman, the actor tweeted, “With the blessings of Shri Hanuman Ji, we are delighted to share that Upasana & Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love & gratitude Surekha & Chiranjeevi Konideli, Shobana & Anil Kamineni (sic).” Check out the official announcement below:

The couple had been married at a ceremony in Hyderabad in 2012. The two, who apparently first met at a sports club more than ten years ago, did not get along at first before falling in love.
The couple is the epitome of what happens when opposites attract. RC has a rather reserved nature, in contrast to his businesswoman wife Upasana, who is thought to be an extrovert. The Tollywood pair, who met in college, got engaged on December 11, 2011, in a celebrity-studded ceremony.
