Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda Begin a New Chapter
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, often called “VIROSH” by admirers, recently got married in a private ceremony. The couple tied the knot on February 26, 2026, at ITC Mementos Ekaaya in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
The wedding was a three-day celebration with family traditions and cultural rituals. The couple honoured both their backgrounds during the ceremony. A traditional Telugu-Andhra wedding was held in the morning, followed by a Kodava wedding in the evening to represent Rashmika’s Coorgi roots.
The celebrations began on February 24 with pre-wedding functions. These included a colourful sangeet where the couple performed together on stage. There were also haldi and mehendi ceremonies along with games and activities for family and close friends. One fun highlight was a cricket match called the “VIROSH Premiere League”.
After the wedding, the couple hosted a grand reception on March 4, 2026, at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad. Several well-known names from the film industry attended the celebration, including Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi and Karan Johar.
For the reception, Rashmika wore a traditional deep red Mysore silk saree with temple jewellery. Vijay chose a classic ivory kurta and dhoti.
The couple also shared their happiness in a unique way. Reports say sweets were distributed across 23 cities, and annadanam was organised at several temples.
Rashmika and Vijay had kept their relationship private for years. The two worked together in the Telugu films Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). Despite rumours over the years, they remained silent about their relationship until they announced their marriage earlier this year.
