Starring opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, the film is doing well at the box office, thanks to its mix of suspense, comedy, thrill and romance. The actress was recently spotted at Mumbai’s T2 airport, where a video of her interaction with paparazzi has gone viral.

In the clip, Rashmika wore a denim-on-denim outfit, messy bun, quirky glasses and a stylish watch, giving off casual and cool vibes. She also wore a face mask. When photographers asked her to remove it for pictures, she politely refused by saying, “Sorry, aaj treatment hua hai” and walked towards the gate.
The short exchange sparked curiosity online. Fans guessed about her ‘treatment.’ One wrote, “Treatment kara kara to change ho jate h kabhi nose, lip, etc.” Another commented, “Botox to nahi le liya.”
The actress has not shared any further details about her treatment.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, Thamma has become one of Rashmika’s most talked-about films. She plays Tadaka (a vampire), while Ayushmann Khurrana stars as Alok. Nawazuddin Siddiqui adds intensity as Yakshasan (the king of darkness), threatening their love.
The film also has Malaika Arora’s special dance number “Poison Baby.” Set in a fictional world, the movie mixes a bloody love story with romance, laughs and edge-of-the-seat suspense.
Rashmika’s Upcoming Projects
Fans have plenty to look forward to. Rashmika will star in Cocktail 2 with Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. Produced by Maddock Films, the film is a sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty. The film is expected to be released in the second half of 2026.
Meanwhile, the trailer for her next film, The Girlfriend, was released recently. The romantic drama stars Dheekshith Shetty alongside Rashmika and is set to release in November 2025. This will be her fifth release in 2025 after Chhaava, Sikandar, Kuberaa, and Thamma.
