RCB WPL 2026 win turned into a memorable night for Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the women’s team defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets to lift their second Women’s Premier League title. The final (played on February 5) saw RCB pull off a confident chase and once again stamp their authority in the league.
The thrilling victory was not limited to celebrations on the field. It also sparked emotional reactions from Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, both closely connected to the RCB franchise.

Soon after the final, Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to celebrate the RCB WPL 2026 win. She shared a picture of the RCB Women’s team lifting the trophy for the second time. Keeping her message brief and heartfelt, she wrote, “RCB Women do it again. History repeated.”
Virat Kohli also reacted to the triumph and applauded the team’s effort. The former RCB captain shared a congratulatory message on Instagram, praising the players, management and leadership.
He celebrated RCB WPL 2026 win and wrote, “Champions again. Keeping the RCB flag flying high and something that each one of you can be Proud of. To Smriti @smriti_mandhana and the whole squad and the management team, a big congratulations for this tremendous victory. You guys deserve this undoubtedly.”
RCB WPL 2026 Win: Smriti Mandhana Leads A Match-Winning Chase
On the field, RCB delivered a dominant batting performance against Delhi Capitals. Chasing a challenging target of 203, skipper Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll took charge early and never allowed DC to gain momentum.
Mandhana played a sensational knock, scoring 87 runs off just 41 balls. Georgia Voll supported her with a brilliant 79 off 54 deliveries. Together, they built a partnership that shifted the game firmly in RCB’s favour.
RCB eventually reached 204 for 4 in 19.4 overs. Radha Yadav sealed the RCB WPL 2026 win in style by hitting back-to-back fours, triggering celebrations in the dugout and among fans.
