Reborn Rich: The much-anticipated drama starring Song Joong Ki is finally here. Reborn Rich saw actor’s return to the small screen after his critically acclaimed drama Vincenzo. While the drama has revenge reincarnation as its central plot, the elements of thrills make it unique. However, despite garnering high viewership ratings, some netizens are displeased with the drama. Song Joong Ki Disappoints Fans
Reborn Rich has finally premiered with much fanfare. While the story of the drama has exceeded fans’ expectations, there are several elements which have come as a disappointment for fans. Several netizens took to social media to takes notes on how Song Joong Ki’s younger version has excessive face filter on when a young actor could have performed the act. For the unversed, a flashback scene showed Song Joong Ki playing 20-year-old version of himself.

Another reason why the drama has come under fire is due to its representation of Istanbul. Many netizens believe that makers could have done a better job with the representation of middle-east. In particular, fans were disappointed with the use of stereotypical middle east filter accompanied with the music in the drama. Many even went on to suggest that it’s high time K-drama makers hired people from middle-east for a better representation.

Reborn Rich Story
Reborn Rich follows the story of Hyun Woo (played by Song Joong Ki) who dies after living ‘like a dog’ for a chaebol family of Soonyang Group. Soon, he reincarnates into the youngest son of the chaebol family Jin Do Joon, vowing revenge on the people responsible for his death.
