Rhea Kapoor shares first glimpse of Sonam Kapoor’s baby: Masi is not ok

New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor’s sister, Rhea Kapoor, shared first picture of the baby boy from the hospital. Rhea got emotional and cried after meeting the nephew. Although the face of the baby boy is covered with an emoji, this is the first glimpse of the Kapoor-Ahuja newborn.

She posted a picture on her social media handle and captioned it, “Rhea masi is not ok. The cuteness is too much. The moment is unreal. I love you @sonamkapoor and bravest mommy and @anandahuja the most loving dad. Special mention new nani @kapoor.sunita #mynephew #everydayphenomenal.”

Sonam and her husband Anand Ahuja welcomed their son on Saturday, August 20. Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Sonam wrote, “On 20.08.2022 we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It is only the beginning, but we know our lives are forever changed – Sonam and Anand.”

Bollywood actors showered their blessing in the comment section. Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Rheaaaaaaaaa love you….Bestes Masi…” Bhumipedneker, Malaika Arora, Tara Sutaria, Shanaya Kapoor and many more blessed the baby.

Sonam tied the knot with Anand in 2018 in an intimate ceremony, followed by a grand reception. The couple celebrated the wedding in traditional manner with close ones.
On the work front, Neerja actress was last seen in AK vs AK, in which, she played herself. She was previously seen in The Zoya Factor and is set to make a comeback with the crime thriller film Blind which will arrive on OTT.

Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, began her career as an assistant director on filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali ‘s 2005 film ‘Black’. She made her acting debut in Bhansali’s romantic drama ‘Saawariya’ (2007), a box office flop, and had her first commercial success with the romantic comedy ‘I Hate Love Story’ (2010). This was followed by a series of commercial failures and repetitive roles, which garnered her negative reviews. The 2013 box office hit ‘Raanjhanaa’ marked a turning point in Kapoor’s career, garnering her praise and Best Actress nominations at several award ceremonies.
