Bhojpuri superstar and politician Pawan Singh has quit Rise and Fall, the reality show hosted by Ashneer Grover. His sudden exit surprised both contestants and fans, especially since his bond with entertainment journalist Nayandeep Rakshit had become one of the main highlights.
Pawan Singh Leaves Rise And Fall Midway
According to IANS, Singh’s family came to pick him up from the sets. Before leaving, he told housemates that he was “never a contestant but just came for some time.” His exit is the second one on the show after wrestler Sangeeta Phogat.
Pawan Singh’s time on the show grabbed attention because of his close friendship with Nayandeep. Viewers loved their bond, and one viral clip also showed Nayandeep helping Singh after a fall. But their moments soon turned into gossip as contestants began linking them beyond friendship.
As the rumours spread, Singh grew worried. Being married, he felt the speculation could harm his image outside the show. This led him to slowly distance himself from Nayandeep, even though they were close earlier.
Nayandeep later clarified that their bond was nothing more than friendship. He said Singh was like an elder brother and added, “It was always just friendship.”
Recently, a controversial video surfaced online. In it, Singh suggested Nayandeep shave his beard and wear a sari. The remark made Nayandeep uncomfortable, and he replied that he was not interested in “becoming a girl.”
