The trailer of Rikshawala opens with a young woman named Nisha requesting a ride home from a local rikshawala. Later on her journey, she makes an attempt at suicide after having flashbacks to her twisted love life in which she was betrayed by her ex-boyfriend. She is also plagued by the deadening sounds of her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend. This bothers the rikshawala who intervenes to save her just before she attempts to jump to her death. With a little help from Riskahwala,Nisha begins her new life in which he turns out to play a pivotal role. Despite their class difference, both begin spending time with each other, which eventually leads to intimacy between them.
Everything goes according to plan until Nisha’s sister-in-law learns about her romance with a rikshawala. She convinces him to leave him and settle down with someone who matches their status. Reluctant to the idea at first, Nisha eventually comes around Bhabhi’s will and starts seeing the new guy with plans to get married to him. As she finds her new Prince Charming, she distances herself from the rickshawala. Bothered by Nisha’s indifference, the rikshwala swears revenge on her bhabhi as he knows she is the reason behind their separation.
