Lag Jaa Gale is reportedly a reworked version of an earlier project called Deadly. The original plan included Tiger, Varun Dhawan, and Janhvi, but the film didn’t take off. Now, the story has been reshaped into this new revenge romance.

Karan Johar is actively expanding Dharma’s lineup. He recently attended Cannes for the premiere of Homebound, starring Janhvi. Dharma is handling almost two dozen projects, including big releases like Dhadak 2 and a spy comedy featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan.
