Roohi completed a 6-day trip to theaters. Roohi’s box office collections were slightly lower than Monday’s, but the decline is not much. Wednesday and Thursday were very important for Roohi, as the film will face new challenges from Friday.
On Tuesday, Roohi collected a collection of 1.26 crores, which combined with the film’s 6-day net collection now stands at 16.41 crores. Roohi was released in theaters on Mahashivaratri on 11 March. It is the first popular Bollywood release film since the cinema hall opened after the lockdown.
On Thursday, a closed opening of 3.06 crore was taken. After this, the film collected 2.25 crores on Friday, 3.42 crores on Saturday, 3.85 crores on Sunday and 1.35 crores on Monday.
The real battle for ‘Roohi’ will begin on Friday. On March 19, two big films are releasing in theaters. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and John Abraham’s Mumbai Saga are releasing. There is a lot of hope from both these films. It is estimated that these films will do a business of Rs 50 crore in New Normal.
While it is being speculated about ‘Roohi’ that it will do a business of 30-35 crores in its lifetime (Roohi Lifetime Box Office Collection).
The film, starring Jahnavi Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao and Varun Sharma, is directed by Hardik Mehta.
Roohi is made as a sequel to the horror-comedy film Stree. This is Janhvi’s second theater release film after her debut Dhadak.
