Rosé to Join THE BLACK LABEL? Check Out Which Labels other BLACKPINK members have joined

BLACKPINK Rosé: BLACKPINK members always make headlines with their new ventures and activities, this time it's Rosé. The main vocalist of BLACKPINK has been in the news for quite some time because of the music label she might be joining. But we've finally got a little insight into what Rosé might choose for herself. A Korean News outlet on 17th June reported that the singer is in talks with Teddy led 'THE BLACK LABEL' which was later confirmed by an official. They said, "We are in discussions about an exclusive contract with Rosé."

Although it was previously reported that Rosé will establish her own label to manage her musical activities. But the scenario turned out to be a little different. The Hip-hop label, 'THE BLACK LABEL' is founded by music producer, Teddy. It is a home for many big K-pop artists including BIGBANG's Taeyang, K-pop idol Jeon Somi, Zion-T and actors like Park Bogum and Lee Jong Won. Now, the global singer Rosé is also expected to sign an exclusive contract with the company. Teddy has been the musical mastermind and produced most of the hit songs for BLACKPINK since the beginning. He has produced the debut songs for the group, 'Whistle' and 'Boombayah' as well as their latest songs, 'Pink Venom' and 'Shut Down.'

Status of other BLACKPINK Members

All four BLACKPINK members have cut their ties with their debut record label, YG Entertainment for their solo activities. They'll still be managed by YGE for their group ventures. Last year, it was the biggest talk of the K-town, whether BLACKPINK would renew their contract with YG or not. Later, they made it clear that the girls will be embarking on a different journey than expected. As Rosé is expected to join 'THE BLACK LABEL' soon, other members of the girl group have already made their choices clear. Most successful member in the group, LISA has established her own label LLOUD and signed an exclusive deal with RCA for her solo recordings. Other members Jennie and Jisoo have also founded their solo labels, ODD ATELIER and BLISSOO respectively. Where Jennie will be more engrossed with fashion and music, Jisoo's future plans show a clear turn toward an acting career.
