RRR star Ram Charan meets JJ Abrams ahead of Oscars, fans say ‘man of masses’ in Star Wars

Pan-India star Ram Charan, who is currently in the US to promote his film RRR ahead of the Oscars, has used the opportunity to meet several renowned figures from the west. Ram Charan, who recently hinted his Hollywood debut, recently met with American director JJ Abrams. Mission: Impossible 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He recently took to Instagram on Friday to share photos with the Hollywood director.

Ram Charan meets JJ Abrams

Ram Charan surprised his fans as he took to his Instagram handle to share pictures with Hollywood director JJ Abrams. He wrote in the caption, “Had the privilege of meeting JJ Abrams today. Thank you sir for inviting me this evening. I`m a big fan of your work. @jjabramsofficial”. 

Fans went all crazy over Ram Charan’s recent meeting with the director. Many even went on to wonder if the two discussed  a project to work on. 

“Let’s! Bring it on, bring it on to your next project @jjabrams The world waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” One person wrote. 

“Congratulations Ram Chatan!! So proud of u & all the cast of RRR for bringing Indian Cinema to global recognition!!! Wishing u & ur fellow cast members all the best on achieving ur dreams,” another person wrote.

“Exciting news that @jjabrams, the marvellous maker of Star Wars has personally invited the #ManOfMasses @AlwaysRamCharan for a pleasant evening,” another person wrote.

Ram Charan opens up about his Hollywood debut

Ram Charan recently sat with Hollywood critic Sam Fragos where he talked about his Hollywood debut. He said, “I am open to working in any country where cinema is appreciated and there’s an audience who appreciate your work. Wherever the camera rolls, I want to be there. You can plan toward it and let it happen. We are in talks definitely. The talks are happening but how it would transcend into a movie and me walking into sets… there’s definitely going to be news, and it will come out in a couple of months.”
