Saiyaara Movie Advance Bookings Day 1: Ahaan Panday Starrer Shatters Pre-Sales Record For Debutant Film, Beats THESE Big Releases

Mohit Suri’s musical drama Saiyaara is making waves ahead of its July 18 release. Featuring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film is breaking records with advance bookings despite zero media promotions. 

The makers have kept the lead pair away from interviews, and it looks like the strategy is working well. The film’s music, including the title track “Saiyaara” and “Barbaad,” is already ruling the charts.

Saiyaara Advance Booking Day 1 Break Records

According to Sacnilk, Saiyaara has already sold close to one lakh tickets, collecting Rs 2.60 crore in advance bookings for its opening day. With one more day to go, the figure could reach Rs 4 crore before release. 

The film’s pre-sales have already beaten major titles like Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 (Rs 1.84 crore), Sunny Deol’s Jaat (Rs 2.59 crore), and Shahid Kapoor’s Deva (Rs 1.66 crore). At this pace, it may also surpass Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 3.31 crore) and Akshay’s Sky Force (Rs 3.78 crore).

Trade analysts predict Saiyaara could make history by crossing Dhadak’s Rs 8.71 crore record for the highest newcomer opening. Early trends suggest an opening above Rs 10 crore, which is huge for debut stars.
