Salman Khan In Trouble? Battle Of Galwan Star Summoned By Rajasthan Court Over Misleading Pan Masala Ad, Another Fraud Case To Be Filed For…

Salman Khan summoned by Rajasthan court over misleading pan masala ad amid 60th birthday celebrations. Read details!

Superstar Salman Khan has landed in a major controversy amid his 60th birthday celebrations. A consumer court in Kota, Rajasthan, has summoned the actor over a MISLEADING pan masala advertisement.

The case comes at a time when Salman is celebrating a big personal milestone. The Battle Of Galwan star turned 60 on December 27. But even as fans cheer, legal trouble has followed.

The complaint is linked to an ad for Rajshree Pan Masala, which Salman Khan endorsed. The petitioner claims the ad made false promises. The product was promoted as “saffron-infused cardamom” and saffron-flavoured pan masala.

According to the complaint, this claim does not add up. Saffron costs around Rs 4 lakh per kilogram. The pan masala pouch sells for just Rs 5. The petitioner argues that real saffron cannot be part of such a low-cost product.

Why The Court Summoned Salman Khan

The case was filed on October 15 by advocate and BJP leader Indra Mohan Singh Honey. He said the advertisement misled consumers and also raised concerns about young people being influenced by such promotions.

He told the court that pan masala consumption can cause serious health issues, including cancer. The consumer court took note of the complaint and moved forward with the hearing.

Things escalated during the December 9 hearing. The petitioner objected to the documents submitted on Salman Khan’s behalf. He questioned the power of attorney and the reply filed in court.

The petitioner alleged, “The power of attorney and reply submitted on behalf of the actor did not bear his signature. Khan’s signature differed from those he had signed in Jodhpur jail and in the court there.”

Speaking to PTI, Singh said, “We objected to Khan’s signature and demanded an FSL examination of the signature and his personal appearance. The court accepted our objection.”

Following this, the court ordered a forensic science laboratory to examine the signature. Salman Khan has also been asked to appear in person at the next hearing on January 20. Advocate RC Choubey, who notarised the documents, has also been summoned.

Singh has further said that he plans to file another case. This one will allege forgery of documents against Salman Khan and others.

Battle Of Galwan Star Celebrates 60th Birthday

Amid the legal issues, Salman Khan marked his 60th birthday. He celebrated at his Panvel farmhouse with family and close friends.

Those present included Salim and Salma Khan, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, and friends like MS Dhoni, Sanjay Dutt, Tabu and Karisma Kapoor. One touching moment stood out. Sohail helped Salim Khan stand beside Salman as they cut the cake together.

Salman later stepped outside to meet fans and the media. He wore a black T-shirt and blue denim. The actor was seen cutting a red-and-white cake and shared it with the paparazzi. He also revealed a clean-shaven look for Battle of Galwan.

To mark the occasion, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai was lit up with his images and the message – Happy Birthday Bhai.
