Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan pays condolences to PM Narendra Modi on his mother Hiraben Modi's demise

Salman Khan: Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan expressed their condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the death of his mother Hiraben on Saturday. She died in the early hours of Friday at an Ahmedabad hospital. She was 99 years old. PM Modi and his brothers cremated her mortal remains at a crematorium in Gandhinagar.

Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter account to pay condolences. He wrote, 'Heartfelt condolences to @narendramodi on the loss of his mother Heeraben ji. My family’s prayers are with you sir. May God bless her soul.'

Salman Khan also wrote on his Twitter account, 'Dear Hon. PM Shri Narendrabhai Modi, I can feel your pain as there is no greater loss than loosing one’s mother. May God give u strength at this hour of need .. @narendramodi'

However, fans trolled Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the comment section of the tweet for being late. One user wrote, 'What kind of condolence is this? So late, so cold. The Honorable PM is elder to you in both age and position. He is no friend of you.' Some fans supported them. Yesterday, a lot of celebrities including Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajay Devgan, Chiranjeevi, Akshay Kumar and Dharmendra paid condolences to Hiraben Modi.
