Sara Ali Khan: Vicky Kaushal’s much-anticipated film the Immortal Ashwatthama was initially going to release this year. Later some reports stated coming in that the film has been shelved. (Vicky also talked about this on Koffee with Karan and mentioned on how he had already started working on his Body and shared some glimpses of his body transformation in his social media handle as well). But now again it is being said that the movie is all set to be revived, but with a major change. Which is, the replacement of the leading lady, that is Sara Ali Khan.

The Script of The Immortal Ashwatthama got revised
According to reports, Sara Ali Khan had to walk out of the project because the script of the particular film got revised. Initially the makers wanted a younger girl for the role and that is the why they roped in Sara Ali khan for the project. But later things changed when the script got revised and the dates started clashing. Now the script demanded an older actress, and which is why now the makers are looking for another option. And of Reports are to be believed, then Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s name has been given the priority.
Meanwhile, Vicky is still on board for the project and the pre-production phase has already begun!
While this film is all about retelling of a mythology that was there is the Mahabharata.
