Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner Sana Makbul has been hospitalised due to a serious health issue, just hours after posting cheerful photos from her Eid celebrations. A photo shared by her friend from the hospital has sparked concern among fans.

Dr Aashna Kanchwala (a close friend of Sana) shared the image on Instagram and called her a fighter. She wrote, “My strongest Diva I’m so proud of you for showing so much strength and resilience as you battle such a grave condition. Inshallah, you will fight this and come out even stronger.”

Sana Makbul Had Said THIS About Her Autoimmune Condition

Sana had earlier spoken publicly about her health in an interview with Bharti Singh. She revealed that she has been battling autoimmune hepatitis since 2020. It’s a condition where the body’s immune system attacks the liver by mistake. 

She explained, “It has no specific symptoms. In this, my body cells are attacking the organ. So in my case, it’s sometimes lupus; it hits your kidneys or causes arthritis.”

Her condition is often compared to myositis, which actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu suffers from. While Samantha’s affects the muscles, Sana’s affects the liver. She shared that her treatment includes steroids and immune-suppressing medicines. However, there is still no guarantee of a complete cure.

Sana also spoke about how social media impacts her mental health, especially with so much medical misinformation online. During her conversation with Bharti and her husband Harsh, she said, “Social media plays with your mind. I keep having my bad days.” 

Fans have been sending in their wishes on social media, hoping for her speedy recovery. While Sana hasn’t addressed the situation yet, her inner circle remains optimistic.
