Animal was one of the biggest movies of 2023 and garnered praise from the audience for its remarkable acting and intriguing tale. Along with the appreciation, the film also garnered criticism and the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga defended his film every time. Now, he revealed how his son reacted after watching the film because he showed his film to his son. He was in an interview with Siddharth Kannan and revealed the reaction of his wife Manisha and son Arjun Reddy.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga Reveals the Reaction of His Son

Sandeep Reddy Vanga was asked if his 7-year-old son had been watching the hype surrounding his film being a superhit, and if so, if he had shown it to him, the director responded in Hindi to Siddharth Kannan. He said, “We made a hard disc of those scenes which could not be shown, and cut it out. Then we showed a different edit of the film during New Year's. He saw the film but I have chopped all those A-rated scenes. He was saying that the underwear action scene was very funny.”

The filmmaker also disclosed that, despite his wife saying that the movie had a lot of violence; she made no mention of misogyny. Sandeep disclosed that his brother provides candid criticism, which he values highly as a filmmaker. In addition, he gave his family credit for the creation of his movie Arjun Reddy.

It narrates the tale of a man who, following his father's emotional detachment, is returned from the United States. To gain his approval, the man goes on a murderous rampage, trying to exact revenge on those who attempted to kill his father.
