Sapna Choudhary: Arrest warrant issued against the Haryanvi dancer, know why

New Delhi: An arrest warrant has been issued against popular dancer and YouTuber sensation Sapna Choudhary. She has been asked to appear before the court for not abiding by the rules of a program and marking her absence.

ACJM Shantanu Tyagi has taken the matter to the court and the next hearing will take place on September 30. On May 10, Sapna Chaudhary had surrendered and had sought interim bail. The court had granted her an interim bail. Then on June 8, Sapna Chaudhary's regular bail application was also granted conditionally. The dancer was expected to appear before the court today, but failed to do so.
Sapna Chaudhry has not addressed her absence in the court formally. 

On May 1, 2019, a charge sheet was filed against Sapna Choudhary in this case for breach of trust and cheating. Meanwhile, on January 20, 2019, a charge sheet was filed against the organizers of the event, Junaid Ahmed, Iwad Ali, Amit Pandey and Ratnakar Upadhyay.

On October 13, 2018 in Lucknow re was a program of other artists including Sapna in Smriti Upvan from 3 pm to 10 pm. For this, online and offline tickets were sold for three hundred rupees per person. Thousands of ticket holders were present to see this program, but Sapna Chaudhary did not come till 10 pm. This did not go well with the audience who created a ruckus on spot, leading problems for the organisers. After this, the money of the ticket holders was also not refunded. On October 14, 2018, the named FIR of this case was lodged by Inspector Firoz Khan in the police station Ashiana.
