Sara Ali Khan, AR Rahman remember KK at IIFA 2022

The nation is still not able to recover from the death of singer KK. The tributes for the 90s icon continue to pour in from all quarters. Recently, actor Sara Ali Khan who was present at the 22nd edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), condoled the sudden and shocking demise of legendary singer.

“I think that it is thoroughly heartbreaking what happened. Too bad what happened. What can I say apart from this? May he rest in peace and my deepest condolences to their whole family.” Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known as KK, passed away on Tuesday evening.

Music maestro AR Rahman also took a moment to pay his respect to the musicians who lost their lives lately — especially KK.

“Musicians take you on another space, so I am really sad about losing Lata Ji, KK, SP Balasubrahmanyam…the list goes on but I think the world is societal…keep going on,”

Rahman reacted to the unfortunate incident on his social media as well.
“Dear KK ..what’s the hurry buddy… gifted singers and artists like you made this life more bearable..#RIPKK,” he wrote.

KK started his journey in the Tamil industry with Rahman only. He lent his voice to ‘Kalluri Saaley’ from the movie ‘Kadhal Desam’.
