The trailer of Sarzameen is finally here, and it’s not your regular family drama. Dharma Productions dropped the intense teaser on Friday, showing a father-son clash wrapped in nationalism, emotional pain and unexpected betrayal.
Starring Kajol, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan, the film tells the story of a family torn apart by war and duty. At its core, it’s a battle between blood ties and love for the country. And from what we see, the stakes are sky-high.
What’s In Sarzameen Trailer?
The trailer kicks off with Prithviraj’s powerful voiceover that says, “Jaante ho, kuch ghaav aise hote hain… woh tab tak nahi bharte jab tak unki yaad nahi mit jaati.” Right after, we see Ibrahim’s Harman (bloodied and bruised) trapped in a frozen landscape, wearing the Indian Army uniform.
Prithviraj is seen playing army officer Vijay Menon. He grills his son with sharp questions, “Tumhe maara kyun nahi? Jawaab do Harman!” Young Ibrahim’s inner conflict is shown as his voice breaks through the background, “Main jaanta hoon woh mujhe kamzor samajhte hain… shayad pyaar bhi nahi karte.”
Then we see Kajol as Meher, the mother caught between her husband and son, she lashes out at Vijay, “Sharm aati hai na tumhe?” She softly reminds him, “Chahe ek bete ko jitna bhi pyaar maa se mile, banna woh hamesha apne baap jaisa chahta hai.”
But just when you think it’s a family fight, the story flips. grown-up Harman is shown fighting enemies in the rain, and he’s suddenly accused of being more than just a rebel son. Prithviraj says, “Sarzameen se badhkar mere liye kuch bhi nahi… chahe woh mera beta hi kyu na ho.”
Trailer Teases Shocking Identity Twist
The trailer hints at a massive twist that Harman might not be who he says he is. In a shocking moment, Prithviraj tells Kajol, “This is not your son, Meher.”
What follows is chaos. Ibrahim’s character is seen holding a gun in Kashmir, as Prithviraj points his weapon at him and asks, “Who are you? I know you are not Harman.” Broken and desperate Kajol cries, “Mujhe apna beta wapas chahiye.”
With bomb blasts, emotional breakdowns, and questions that hang in the air, Sarzameen leaves you wondering - is Harman a patriot, a pawn or a traitor?
