Veteran actor Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 on March 9, just a day after Holi. His sudden demise has send the entire country into shockwaves. As Delhi Police probe into his death, a new angle has come forth with Satish Kaushik’s friend Vikas Malu’s wife alleging involvement of her husband. However, this hasn’t sit well with Satish Kaushik’s wife Shashi, who is still in the state of mourning. She has said that the woman is defaming Satish and probably want to gain some money from her husband using the incident.
Satish Kaushik’s wife slams death case
Satish Kaushik’s wife has said that she is not in favour of police probing Satish Kaushik’s death case with a murder angle. She has also slammed Vikas Malu’s wife for using actor’s name for personal gains. She has said that Vikas Malu and Satish Kaushik were very good friends and slammed the woman for using her husband.
Sashi further added that Satish had gone to Delhi to attend a Holi party and the allegations of murder are baseless.
“She is defaming my husband to lure money from Vikas Malu. The cops have verified everything, I don’t understand how she is claiming that he had been administered drugs and murdered. I don’t understand why she is trying to defame my husband after his death. She has some agenda and because maybe she wants money from her husband and she is now involving Satish ji also,” Shashi said.
What the woman said
The woman, who is Satish Kaushik’s friend Vikas Malu’s second wife has, claimed that her husband drugged the actor as both have been fighting over Rs 15 crore. She alleged that Vikas Malu owed Satish Kaushik Rs 15 crore which he had borrowed several years ago for an investment. She further claimed that the duo even had a fight over the same last year in Dubai.
“I was present in the drawing room where both Kaushik and my husband got involved in an argument. Kaushik was saying that he was in dire need of money and it has been three years since he gave Rs 15 crore to my husband for investment purposes. Kaushik also said that neither any investment was made nor his money was returned for which he was feeling cheated,” she said in her complaint.
