Shah Rukh Khan Offers King To Jaideep Ahlawat, Paatal Lok Actor Says Siddharth Anand Was Hesitant Because Of THIS Reason

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King keeps making headlines for its casting and now there's one more reason to talk about it. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has confirmed his role in the film, revealing that SRK personally asked him to join the cast, after director Siddharth Anand was unsure about offering the part.

Speaking to Lallantop, Jaideep shared, “SRK sir kafi time se soch rahe the iss cheez ko… but Siddharth bhai thoda hichak rahe honge ki chota part hai to offer after Jewel Thief. But Khan saab, being Khan saab, he said I’ll talk to him.”

Jaideep spoke warmly about his bond with Shah Rukh, calling him one of the kindest people in the industry. He said, “He’s a wonderful human being. Every time I’ve met him, he’s made me feel important.” Their first project together was Raees, and since then, Jaideep says SRK has always treated him with warmth and respect.

Fans may remember Jaideep as the villain in Jewel Thief, another Siddharth Anand film, where his acting and even his dance moves got major love. While his role in King is reportedly small, Jaideep said the chance to work with Shah Rukh again was reason enough to say yes. He said, “Who could say no to him?”
