Veteran Bollywood actor and Shraddha Kapoor‘s father Shakti Kapoor has reacted strongly after fake reports about his death started circulating online. The actor dismissed the rumours and clarified that he is completely fine. His response has now gone viral on social media, with fans expressing relief and anger over the false claims.
The shocking death hoax spread rapidly across different platforms and left many fans confused. However, Shakti Kapoor quickly addressed the rumours through a video message. The actor not only denied the reports but also warned those spreading misinformation online. He called the incident “not good” and revealed that he plans to take legal action.
Shakti Kapoor Reacts To Viral Death Hoax
In the viral clip, Shakti Kapoor spoke directly to viewers in a calm but firm tone. He said, “Hello everyone, the news of my death is completely fake. I am healthy and happy. Please ignore it. I am going to complain about it. But this is not good. That’s not good.”
The actor looked visibly upset over the incident. He also urged people not to forward unverified information on social media. According to him, such fake news can create panic and emotional distress among family members, friends and fans.

This is not the first time a Bollywood actor has faced such a situation. Last year, veteran actor Raza Murad also became a victim of a similar death hoax. False reports claiming his death had surfaced online, forcing him to file a police complaint at Andheri Police Station. Speaking to ANI at the time, Murad revealed that the fake post even claimed nobody remembered him despite his long film career.
Over the years, several film stars across industries have been targeted by fake death reports. These rumours often spread quickly before official clarification reaches the public.
