Shamshera: Ranbir Kapoor – ‘I wish my father was alive to see Shamshera’

Shamshera: There is no doubt that the handsome hunk of B-town, Ranbir Kapoor is a talented actor. Its teaser has been released, which is getting a lot of love from the audience. In a latest interview, Ranbir Kapoor has said with an emotional heart that, I wish his father, Rishi Kapoor, could watch his film ‘Shamshera’.

According to the report, Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his wish in his recent interview that his father could watch his film ‘Shamshera’. He also told that, if his father had seen this film, then surely he would have felt proud of him. Ranbir said, “I wish my father was alive to see this film. He always used to criticize me clearly for my work. Whether he liked my work or not, he always gave his candid feedback. It’s a pity, he’s not there to see it. However, I am excited that I got an opportunity to do a film like this and I am sure he will be proud of me wherever he is.”

Ranbir Kapoor is excited for Shamshera

Ranbir Kapoor considers ‘Shamshera’ a positive step in his career. He said, “I want to grow as an actor and I think ‘Shamshera’ is a positive step in that direction. You want to make films for a large audience. You want to tell stories that viewers can connect with and entertain. This film has not released yet, but I want to see how the audience accepts me in this role. Talking about the film, apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt are in the lead roles. This film is all set to release on 22 July 2022.
