Hailing from Samstipur, Bihar, this entrepreneur had a vision when he first appeared on the Shark Tank India 2 but what caught the sharks' attention was his selfless attitude leading to his previous employer not giving him any stakes in the firm. That made Ashutosh popular. Today, as he is standing with his own brand backed by Rani, Ashutosh is back to the Shark Tank India 4 platform with a special offer. For his comeback, he's offering 1% equity for only Rs 10 which stands shocking not only for fans but sharks as well. However, the reason behind it is just to pay respect to the people who supported him back then. As Offmint is thriving in the market, its social media following has also reached 27.8K. Ashutosh's goal is to create a global brand and Rani Ahluwalia wanted to do something for India, therefore, she invested 85 Cr for the business.

Ashutosh Kumar appeared in front of the sharks in 2023 with his co-pitcher Kishore. They were asking money for their gender neutral clothing brand Gavin Paris. As soon as Sharks got to know that from ideation to creation and management, Ashutosh was hustling for the brand, they asked the equity percentage he holds in the company. To everyone's surprise, when Kishore revealed he holds 100% equity of Gavin Paris, the sharks got triggered. Vineeta Singh offered 30L for 10% equity however she also offered 20L debt with 12% interest, the condition was Ashutosh Kumar getting 40% equity in the company which was ultimately refused. Boat founder Aman Singh also asked Ashutosh to come back and start this business again with him.
