Shelly says, “ 20 minutes on television changed my life.” Not only did the business grow fast, but people also began recognising her in public. She calls it a surreal and rewarding feeling.

Since her TV appearance, The Shell Hair has gone global. The company now ships high-quality hair extensions internationally. Shelly believes the impact of Shark Tank India goes beyond just her success. She says, “Five years ago, terms like D2C were jargon. Now, even school children are talking about it.” According to her, the show has made business knowledge more mainstream and accessible to all.
