Riding on this success, Season 5 premiered on January 5, 2026, and quickly grabbed viewers’ attention with new Sharks, bigger ideas, and a special focus on student-led startups.

This season featured one of its most inspiring moments when Aditya Anand, a former student of Anand Kumar’s Super 30, took the stage and impressed the Sharks with his journey and business idea.

Anand Kumar’s Super 30 Student Impresses Sharks

Aditya Anand (from Munger, Bihar) revealed he was part of Anand Kumar’s Super 30 batch – the same program that inspired the Bollywood film Super 30 starring Hrithik Roshan. Known for teaching underprivileged students either free or at minimal fees, Super 30 has changed many lives, including Aditya’s.

After Super 30, Aditya cracked the IIT entrance exam and graduated from IIT Kanpur. He then worked for five years, saved money, and launched his own startup. His company uses AI to help businesses with data and stock research. The Sharks were visibly impressed by both his story and the technical depth of his idea.

Returning judges like Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta, along with newcomer Pratham Mittal (who joined for the Campus Special), praised Aditya’s grit and vision.
