Shark Tank India Season 2: Amit Jain joined the show as a new shark and he is grabbing every good deal. Sometimes it felt like Amit Jain is snatching the deal from the hands of Anupam Mittal as Anupam lost some deals to Amit Jain since his appearance on the show. Same happened in the latest episode when the father-son duo Arjun Dharamshi and Mukesh Dharamshi came to present their candy brand Dobie and they impressed the Sharks with their stats and the impressive pitch. They asked for 72 lakhs in the exchange of 2% equity. The struggling story of Mukesh Dharamshi made the Sharks emotional.

Pitcher Mukesh Dharamshi told his emotional story that at first, he used to sell cold drinks on bus depot and after that he got to know about the candy business and he started making candies for the famous companies of marketing. His son Arjun Dharamshi returned from France and he advised Mukesh to start a new company and they started this company. Their story made the Sharks happy and they praised Arjun Dharamshi for supporting his father.

Anupam Mittal loses deal to Amit Jain

Anupam Mittal asked them about the reason behind the offer and Mukesh told them that his lucky number is 11 so he asked for 72 lakhs for 2% equity because if you add the numbers then it will be 11. Anupam took a dig at them and said ‘Toh phir aap 11% dete na.’ Amit Jain gave them offer of 40 lakhs for 5% equity and 32 lakhs at 11% interest. However, Anupam Mittal changed the game as he gave the offer of 72 lakhs for 11% equity. Amit Jain said, “Bahaut Jyada hai yeh aap apni equity ka sochiye.” Anupam Mittal replied, “Humne dhandha samajh liya.” Mukesh and Arjun countered the offer with 72 lakhs for 5% but Anupam Mittal said, ‘I can give 72 lakhs for 9% equity.’

Amit Jain gave another offer of 72 lakhs for 7% and Anupam Mittal put himself out but they countered the offer with the equity of 6%. Aman Gupta advised Arjun and Mukesh Dharamshi to take the offer for 6.5% equity and Anupam Mittal lost the deal to Amit Jain.
