Shark Tank India Season 2: Anupam Mittal responds to Harsh Goenka’s post about Sharks’ loss; calls it ‘biased & incomplete data’

Shark Tank India Season 2: Anupam Mittal, Shark Tank India season 2 judge and founder-CEO of Shaadi.com, commented on Twitter after industrialist Harsh Goenka released a graphic demonstrating that the majority of the ‘sharks’ are losing money. “I know you meant it in fun, therefore with all due respect sir, I think u reacted to what appears to be superficial, biassed, and inadequate data,” Anupam Mittal said.

Harsh Goenka tweeted about the loss of Sharks

“Happy to learn from stalwarts, but just to clarify, the sharks don’t bleed red, we bleed blue, and that’s why we do what we do (hug emoji),” he wrote. Harsh had previously written, in addition to providing the chart, “Shark Tank India is a programme that I enjoy and believe is a terrific platform for our aspiring entrepreneurs. However, every time I think of sharks, I think of the film Jaws and bleeding!”

Reacting to the Tweet, Anupam Mittal wrote on his Twitter account, “I know you meant it in jest so with all due respect sir, I think u reacted to what appears to be superficial, biased & incomplete data. Happy to learn from stalwarts, but just to clarify, like u, the sharks don’t bleed red, we bleed blue & that’s why we do what we do.”

A Twitter user responded to the message by writing, “The only way you could have responded, Anupam, was with data and substance. Not simply words or rhetoric. It doesn’t make sense in any of your examples.” “You are correct,” Harsh answered.

LinkedIn user revealed about the loss of Shark Tank India Season 2 investors

Last week, author Ankit Uttam penned an article on LinkedIn about why Shark Tank India ‘never worked for him’. He revealed how the Shark Tank India judges’ businesses are actually losing money. His post stated, “Unlike its American version, Shark Tank India has never worked for me as a show since its first season. In the US version of the show, each judge runs enterprises that make a profit rather than relying on venture capital or drowning in massive losses.”
