Shark Tank India Season 2: Amit Jain is the new Sharks for this season of the reality show and today he joined the other Sharks as well. However, Vineeta Singh was not available in today’s episode. On his first day, Amit Jain tried to convince a pitcher but Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar made it unsuccessful as they thought that Amit Jain played ‘Community Card.’ Arun Aggarwal came from Rajasthan to present his brand ‘Janitri’, which makes the products to reduce the deaths of mother and child during the pregnancy period. Arun shared the stats of death and the Sharks were shocked to learn the stats of death of pregnant women and infant children.

Arun Aggarwal impressed the Sharks with his continue hustling and he got appreciation for that from the Sharks. He asked for 1 crore for 2.5% equity. Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta put themselves out of this deal but Namita Thapar seemed interesting to close the deal as she also belongs to healthcare sector. Namita also shared an emotional story and said, ‘one of my cousins suffered from infant mortality so I am emotionally connected with this brand.’ Peyush Bansal gave her offer to share a deal with him but Namita denied to do that with Peyush Bansal.

First, Namita gave the deal of 75 lakhs for 5% equity with 50 lakhs debt but Arun felt conscious so she reduced the amount of debt and shared another deal of 75 lakhs for 5% equity with 30 lakh debt but Amit Jain and Peyush Bansal matched the deal and Amit Jain said, ‘Hum bhi Rajasthani hain aur hum jaante hain ki dhandha kaise karte hain.’ Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar replied, ‘Community card play mat karo aap.’

Namita Thapar closed the deal

Amit Jain matched Arun’s offer of 1 crore for 2.5% equity but he put a condition. Amit took a guarantee from Arun about the revenue and he said that if the revenue was not as much as you promised then the equity will be 5% from 2.5%. Namita Thapar added this offer to her deal and gave him this offer with the previous one. Arun Aggarwal accepted the second offer of Namita Thapar with the condition and Namita closed the deal individually for 1 crore for 2.5% equity.
