Shark Tank India Season 2: Freakins owners Puneet Sehgal and Shaan Shah came to present their denim jacket brand for women. They started their pitch with an electrifying dance performance to grab the attention of the the Sharks. Pitchers impressed the Sharks with their pitch and shared that their brand is worn by Bollywood celebrities. They asked for 70 lakhs for 1% equity and Vineeta Singh said, “Humara vision dhundhta ho gaya yeh sunke.”

Puneet came in the company after the foundation of the company and Puneet shocked the sharks with his equity in the company because he owns the most 54% equity. Anupam Mittal says ‘Yeh kamaal kardiya aapne.’ Sharks were impressed after hearing the sales numbers of the company as they were higher than expected but the loss of the company is also higher than expected. Pitcher shared that they have lost 2.1 crores in 2020-2021, 3.8 crores on 2021-2022 and 60 lakh in 6 months in 2023-2023. They shared that they did not have knowledge at that time.
Anupam Mittal lambasts pitchers
Anupam Mittal got upset after hearing it and he said, “What a freakin mess. Abhi jo loss hua hai uska paisa kahan se aa raha hai.” Puneet told that Shaan’s family is paying the losses. Anupam Mittal asked that Puneet has the most equity but then why the loss is being paid by Shaan’s family? He asked them if they want to retire the debt with the amount they get in the deal. Pitchers agreed and Anupam stepped out of the deal. He said, “It’s a mess and I am not here to invest in the company for past. Main invest karunga for the future.” Aman Gupta elaborated the whole thing to Anupam Mittal. Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal and Namita Thapar also stepped out but Vineeta Singh got the deal for 50 lakhs for 2.5% equity and 20 lakhs debt at 12% interest.
