The unexpected death of Shefali Jariwala on Friday has left fans and the TV world shocked. The Kaanta Laga star and Bigg Boss 13 contestant was only 42. While early reports suggest cardiac arrest, the official cause of death is still unknown.

What’s hitting fans even harder is her last post on Twitter, which was  a touching tribute to her ex-boyfriend and Bigg Boss co-star Sidharth Shukla. The late actor had also died young from a heart attack, making this connection even more emotional.

Shefali Jariwala Mentioned Sidharth Shukla In Her Last X Post

Although Shefali mostly used Instagram, her final tweet was posted in September 2024. It featured a photo of her hugging Sidharth Shukla from Bigg Boss 13. 

She wrote, “Thinking of you today mere dost @sidharth_shukla.” It was posted during his third death anniversary. Sidharth passed away in 2021 at the age of 40.

The two had dated about 15 years ago during their early TV careers. In a 2020 interview with BollywoodLife, Shefali said they shared a lot in common and always stayed friendly, even after parting ways.

Shefali’s Final Days And Her Tragic End

Shefali became an overnight star in the early 2000s with the chartbuster song Kaanta Laga. Over the years, she featured in many music videos and shows. Her appearance in Bigg Boss 13 brought her back into the spotlight and reconnected her with a younger audience.

Just a few days before her death, Shefali performed at an event in Goa. She was said to be in good health. But on Friday, she was found unresponsive at her home in Andheri, Mumbai. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Mumbai Police later confirmed her death and shared that a postmortem is underway. A police source said, “Shefali Jariwala was found at her home. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.”

The tragic news (coupled with her emotional last post for Sidharth Shukla) has sparked major grief online. Both gone too soon, their bond is now being remembered in the most heartbreaking way.
