Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar have expressed their intention to become parents. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the pair uploaded a picture and claimed that it is the ‘most beautiful moment of their lives’. The performers sat outside with their backs to the camera in the photograph. Shoaib and Dipika both dressed in white, with her wearing a white frock and him wearing a white shirt and denims. They were both wearing their headgear backwards and resting their heads next to each other. While Dipika’s cap had the words ‘mom-to-be’ inscribed on it, Shoaib’s cap said ‘dad-to-be’.

Sharing the post on Instagram, the couple wrote in the caption of the post, “Sharing this news with you all with our hearts full of Gratitude, Happiness, Excitement and Also nervousness. Humari life ka ye Sabse khoobsurat phase hai…Yessss We are Expecting Our First Child!! Going to Embrace Parenthood Soon. #alhamdulillah. Aapki dher saari duaon aur pyaar ki zaroorat hai for our little one.” They also used the hashtags shoaika, expecting parents, and allah ka shukar.
Gauahar Khan responded to the post by writing, “May Allah bless you both on this grand journey. Ameen.” “Congratulations,” remarked Charu Asopa. Several fans congratulated the duo as well. Someone commented, “This is the best news. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart. I’m also wishing the baby and the mother good health; I’m so thrilled for you both.” Another supporter stated, “Congratulations. We’re all very…excited.”

Dipika and Shoaib met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and were close friends before starting a relationship. In 2018, they married. The two reacted to her pregnancy rumours in 2021. Dipika was asked if she was expecting a child at the opening of a candy business.
