Shweta Bachchan: Daughter of one of the most powerful couples in Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda was born in 1946. She did not choose a career in the Hindi film industry. Instead of that she opted to be an author and columnist. Her Brother Abhishek Bachchan is following the footsteps of his parents but he could not made his career in Bollywood. In a recent interview, Shweta Bachchan recalled that how her parents came from small towns in India and becoming huge superstars have been overprotective of their children to keep them away from the spotlight of glamour and stardom of the film industry.

Shweta says, “We have lived an insular life”
Shweta was seen in the second season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. She even said that she and Abhishek lived a restricted life in their childhood days. Shweta spoke in an interview, “My parents are lot more protective than me, but that time was very different. My mother and father came from very small towns in India and made their destinies in films. Industry brought them a lot of fame and recognition and for people who came from middle-class families. When we were born, they had the impulse that we have to protect these kids because there was so much attention on them.

Shweta was married to Nikhil Nanda, whose grandfather was the legendary actor Raj Kapoor. Shweta is herself parents to entrepreneur Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. They will make their Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies along with Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
