He was arrested by Hyedrabad Police in January
Siddharth got involved in a dispute in January when he was arrested by the Hyderabad Police's cybercrime wing for a tweet directed at star Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal. According to a senior police official, a case was filed under IPC Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to offend the modesty of women) and relevant parts of the Information Technology Act. He then apologized publicly, calling his remark a "rude joke" and admitting that he couldn't "justify my tone and words."
