Siddhu Moosewala: Singer Siddhu Moosewala’s song “SYL” was released on his YouTube channel a few weeks after his death. The song, released by his team on his official YouTube channel, has garnered over 10 million views within 13 hours of its release and is currently trending at number one.

SYL, written and sung by Moosewala, is the first song to be released after his death. In this song, Sidhu Moosewala has raised issues like the issue of Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, Punjab’s right over the river water and the release of Sikh prisoners in jails.
The song of Moosewala was released on Thursday, but before that it was leaked on Wednesday. Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh had appealed to all music producers after the son’s death not to release any of his unfinished tracks without his father Balkaur Singh’s wish.

As soon as the song was released, fans of Sidhu Moosewala were flooded with the comment section of the video. One fan commented, “It’s really a roaring sound. Always unbeatable. Miss you will always rule our hearts.” Another fan wrote, “You will always be our legend, you will never be forgotten brother.”
Murdered on 29th May
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on 29 May in Jawahar’s village in Mansa. So far, the Punjab Police investigation has revealed that the shooters were allegedly acting on the instructions of Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar, and had support from Sachin Thapan, Anmol Bishnoi and Vikram Brar. Brar and Bishnoi claimed responsibility for Moosewala’s murder through Facebook profiles soon after the singer was shot.
