Captain Vikram Batra Death Anniversary: Marking 24 years of selfless sacrifice made by him, India remembers Flag Bearer of Solidity – Late Captain Vikram Batra PVC who fearlessly said “ Yeh dil Maange More” after capturing enemy’s camp during the unforgettable Kargil War.
Sharing Indian Army’s post on his Instagram story, Sidharth Malhotra also paid his heartfelt tribute to Late Captain Vikram Batra on Thursday, on his death anniversary. He captioned it “Big love and Respect”. Sidharth is known for portraying martyred soldier Captain Batra’s role in his biopic ‘Shershaah’ which is said to be one of the best performances of his career.

Aiyaari (2018) – Siddharth had a particular image of a typical Bollywood Hero because of the choice of characters he always chose to play until Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaari’ falls into his court. He played an army officer for the first time and his character ‘Jai Bakshi’ gave his fans a contrasting image of Sidharth which earlier was underlying somewhere into the image of “Munda Kukkad Kamal Da” . Talking about the film, Aiyaary is not only an action thriller film but also a magnificent suspense film. Apart from Sidharth Malhotra, film is a realm of top talents of the industry including Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Nasir Uddin Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Adil Hussain. It also features Kumud Mishra who was recently seen in ‘Lust Stories 2‘ streaming on Netflix.
Shershaah (2021) – They say – “Liking the things we do makes life blessed” and that’s what Sidharth Malhotra chose to imply. Choosing to play the role of Captain Vikram Batra PVC in his Biopic ‘Shershaah’ under the banner of Dharma Production is considered as one of the best decisions of Malhotra. This film made audience go bananas on Siddharth’s performance and B Praak’s recreation of Mann Bharaya added the every ounce of emotion that was needed to portray the dejected sentiments of the loved ones who are left behind the martyrs. Mission Majnu (2023) – Sidharth plays a spy in the film who works for RAW and resides in Pakistan whose sole mission is to obtain information about Pakistan’s Nuclear Program. Shantanu Bagchi’s Mission Majnu is story that is set in the aftermath of the Indo – Pakistan War in 1971 and the movie is said to be inspired by true events that took place amid war. Yodha – Made under the banner of Dharma Productions,’Yodha’ will be releasing in December this year. Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna will also be seen with Sidharth.
Indian Police Force –This Rohit shetty’s swashbuckler web series will also be an OTT debut of Sidharth Malhotra and is estimated to get released around Diwali in 2023.
Adal Badal – Sidharth will be seen with his better half Kiara Advani in this upcoming film. Release and other announcements are yet to be made.
