Indian Matchmaking Season 3: Indian Matchmaking has been called names in the past but that has not deterred the makers from bringing new seasons. Yes Sima Taparia is back once again! Netfix dropped the trailer of the Season 3 of the infamous series on Apil 6.
In the new season, Sima Taparia is dealing with a new set of clients. In the trailer, she complains that they are ‘difficult.’ The clients can be seen talking about divorce and comparing their prospects to Pete Davidson’s jokes.
To premiere on April 21
Indian Matchmaking Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on April 21. The famous show revolves around a matchmaker from India, setting up prospective alliances, for her clients.
Unveiling the the trailer of Indian Matchmaking 3 on Thursday, Netflix wrote, “Matchmaking ki koi seema nahi hoti hai. Sirf Sima Aunty hoti hai. Season 3 of Indian Matchmaking arrives April 21st! (sic).”

In the trailer, Sima Taparia said that matchmaking is a job that will never be finished. She also complained about difficult clients. They talkedabout being desperate, their divorce and Pete Davidson’s jokes.
This season will feature Sima Taparia’s her family too. In a statement, she said, “Season 3 of Indian Matchmaking was very personal for me. This season, viewers will get to not only see my husband Anup, but my daughters, son-in-law and beautiful granddaughter! Just as it is for my clients, my family has always been my biggest support system.”
Misogynistic and regressive
The series has been brutally trolled in the past. Netizens called it out for its misogynistic and regressive nature on social media. She appeared on Sahitya AajTak in 2022 and answered the critics.
She said, “The show becomes a hit when you get both reactions. That’s why Indian Matchmaking is a hit show.”
Indian Matchmaking 3 will premiere on Netflix this month.
