Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen are back on the big screen with a refreshing take on married life in Sir Madam. The upcoming Telugu film (a dubbed version of the Tamil film Thalaivan Thalaivii) is directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The makers dropped the trailer yesterday, and it’s already making noise for its bold, realistic storytelling.

The trailer is a mix of emotion, humour, and raw honesty. It digs deep into what happens when ego and expectations creep into a relationship. The chemistry between Vijay and Nithya feels authentic and relatable, making you believe this isn’t just another romantic drama but a slice-of-life story that mirrors everyday couples.

What’s In Sir Madam Trailer?

The trailer opens with Vijay Sethupathi delivering a striking line, “You came here on your own without thinking about what life would be like if you came with me…” It introduces a marriage that’s far from perfect. Nithya Menen enters the frame next, and the tension between the two characters instantly grabs your attention.

The scenes flow between sharp banter, awkward post-wedding moments, and even comic touches like Vijay’s parota-making scene. However, things take a dramatic turn when Nithya says, “Let’s separate.”

This sudden shift from light-hearted humour to intense emotion leaves a strong impact. The trailer hints at a layered story where love, pride, and personal battles collide.

Visually, the trailer looks good with vibrant festival shots, warm lighting, and a catchy background score that lifts every emotional beat. Yogi Babu and Chemban Vinod Jose make brief appearances, promising moments of laughter to balance out the heavy themes.
