Actor-producer Sohail Khan and his wife, designer Seema Khan, filed for divorce on Friday. The couple married in 1998 and have two children together. The duo was spotted leaving the family court in Mumbai.
A source from the family court revealed to ETimes, “Sohail Khan and Seema Sachdev were present in the court today. They have filed for a divorce. Both were friendly towards each other.’
Seema and Sohail were present on the fourth floor of the family court complex. They appeared in front of Judge Maqdoom so that the Hon’ble Judge could complete the verification process of their divorce application. They are yet to released an official statement about their divorce.
Sohail and Seema’s divorce news comes a few years after his older brother Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora parted ways. The couple was married for 18 years before they announced their separation in 2016. They were divorced in May 2017.
For the unversed, actor produced Khan had first met Seema, a Delhi based fashion designer, at the sets of his film ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’. Seema was reportedly living in Mumbai back then, pursuing her career in fashion industry. The two became close in no time and started dating each other.
Meanwhile, the exact reason behind is seperation is still unknown.
