Spiderman Brand New Day Box Office Collection: After an impressive opening at the Indian box office, Spider-Man: Brand New Day witnessed an expected slowdown on its second day. While collections declined compared to the opening day, the Marvel superhero film continued to attract audiences and remained one of the biggest releases currently playing in cinemas. The second-day trend reflects a common pattern seen with major tentpole releases, where a strong opening is often followed by a softer weekday performance before the weekend determines the film’s longer-term box office strength.

How did the film perform on Day 1?

The Marvel release opened strongly with a Day 1 India net collection of ₹60.60 crore from 17,250 shows. Its opening-day India gross collection stood at ₹72.44 crore, giving the film a solid start at the box office. The strong debut reflected high audience anticipation, advance bookings and widespread interest among Marvel fans.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Day 2 box office collection

During the second day of the release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day made a net collection of approximately ₹49.35 crore from 16,902 shows in India. This represents an 18.6% decrease in comparison with the film’s net collection on the opening day which stood at ₹60.60 crore. The net collection of the film so far in India now stands at ₹109.95 crore, while the gross collection stands at ₹131.46 crore after two days.

Why did collections fall on Day 2?

Spiderman Brand New Day Box Office Collection: A decline after a blockbuster opening is a common trend for big-budget films. Once the initial rush of bookings and first-day viewers subsides, collections often settle before receiving another boost during the weekend. Although Spider-Man: Brand New Day recorded a lower collection on Day 2, the film continues to perform well by maintaining strong occupancy across many multiplexes and premium screens.
