SS Rajamouli's RRR is unstoppable! bags 4 nominations at HCA Film Awards after Golden Globe and Critics Choice

The Oscar chances of RRR appear strong, as the film has received back-to-back nominations! On December 15, SS Rajamouli's directorial debut received four nominations, including Best Picture, at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards. This follows numerous nominations for the Golden Globes 2023 and Critics Choice Awards 2023. Many believe that RRR's popularity will earn the picture one or two Oscar nominations in 2023.

RRR is creating history

SS Rajamouli created history earlier this week when the film garnered two nominations at the Golden Globes 2023. The film received nominations for Best Original Song and Best Film in a Foreign Language. This week has been a busy one for the RRR team. The film has received several nominations for international awards. The film received four nominations at the HCA Film Awards on December 15. The official Twitter handle of RRR Movie tweeted the news by writing, “The nomination spree continues! #RRR bags 4 nominations at the #HCAFilmAwards! @HCAcritics . Thank you so much Jury for recognising #RRRMovie.”

RRR by SS Rajamouli is a fictitious story authored by his father, Vijayendra Prasad. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played Telugu liberation warriors Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, on whom the film is based. The historical action film also includes Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Olivia Morris.
