‘Fukra Insaan’ Abhishek Malhan has finally reacted to the engagement rumours linking him to actor Jiya Shankar. The YouTuber spoke up after fresh speculation spread on social media. The buzz started again after Jiyaa shared photos with a mystery man.
Jiya Shankar soon clarified that she was not engaged to Abhishek. Even after this, his name kept trending online. This pushed Abhishek to respond and ask people to stop connecting him to baseless stories.

Abhishek addressed the issue through his Instagram Stories. His message was direct and emotional. He made it clear that he is tired of the same rumours returning every year. He wrote, “I want to make one thing very clear – please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of a show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then, and nothing has changed since.”
He also pointed out a pattern behind such rumours. According to him, the same narratives resurface without any reason. Expressing disappointment, he added, “What’s disappointing is that this has become a pattern. Almost every year, out of nowhere, the same narratives resurface without any reason or context. Even I can see it, and I believe the audience is smart enough to notice this pattern too.”
What grabbed attention was that Abhishek did not mention Jiya Shankar by name in his post. Fans noticed this quickly. Many believe it hints that the two are no longer on good terms after Bigg Boss OTT 2 ended.

Abhishek ended his message with a clear appeal for privacy. He asked fans to respect his personal space and let him focus on his work. Recently, Jiya Shankar was also linked to Border 2 actor Ahan Shetty. Social media reports claimed the two were dating and planning to get married. These rumours gained attention after they were reportedly spotted together and after Jiya posted cryptic captions about “someone special”.
However, Ahan Shetty’s team dismissed these reports in November 2025. They called them “completely baseless” and said the actor is single and focused on his upcoming projects, including Border 2.
